Meet The Team

Dr. Vinh Mai is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 13 years of experience.   He specializes in Emergency medicine with a strong orthopedic and sports medicine background.   He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at UT Arlington and graduated with Summa Cum Laude.    Pursuing his passion for medicine, he attended Texas A&M School of Medicine in College Station, Texas, and graduated with honors.  He completed his residency at UT Health Science Center in Tyler, Texas, and fell in love with Emergency Medicine where he continues to work today in this field.  As he met different people in the ER, he felt that he was truly making a difference in their lives as he gets to treat them whenever they need medical help.  Because the practice of medicine is not a one-size fits all, he ensures that his patients are well educated on every option available to them.   

When not working, he spends time with his parents and siblings eating, cooking, baking, or attending concerts or sporting events.  Very proficient in the kitchen, he’s always serving authentic Vietnamese cuisines and delicacies (Vietnamese rice crepes (banh cuon), Vietnamese caramelized braised pork (thit kho to), and various fried rice dishes) with a crossover with another Asian dish. 

Alex Bulan is a nationally certified physician associate (PA) with over 15 years of experience in managing musculoskeletal and neuropathy conditions. Known for his compassionate, patient-centered care, Alex focuses on a conservative and regenerative approach to pain and neuropathy management, helping patients avoid unnecessary surgeries and medications. He believes that personalized, systematic treatment is key to achieving long-lasting pain relief and improving quality of life. His approach is designed to help patients regain their mobility and well-being while minimizing the need for invasive procedures.

Alex's journey into medicine began when he joined the U.S. Navy at 17, serving as a Hospital Corpsman before becoming a naval officer and PA. His 27-year naval career took him around the world, from Cuba to Italy, with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds both a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, and completed a fellowship in orthopedic surgery. Outside of his professional life, Alex enjoys spending time with his growing family and pursuing his passions for swimming, biking, running, and traveling.

Jasmine is a dedicated Medical Assistant with over 5 years of experience specializing in pediatrics, adult medicine, and early childhood education. Her passion for medicine and unwavering commitment to patient care have been the foundation of her career.

At just 18 years old, Jasmine pursued her calling by enrolling at the College of Healthcare Professions, where she graduated second in her class. She is deeply devoted to listening to her patients and providing compassionate, patient-centered care, ensuring everyone feels heard, supported, and advocated for.

Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her husband and their playful German Shepherd puppy. Her hobbies include photography, traveling, journaling, and Bible study. She also has a keen interest in home decor and treasures time spent with family.

With a passion for healthcare and patient advocacy, Marilyn has been serving as a trusted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for 2+ years. She is skilled in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including assisting in procedures, patient education, and maintaining efficient clinic workflows.

Marilyn takes pride in delivering compassionate care and ensuring patients feel heard and valued during their healthcare journey. Whether performing vital sign checks, managing medical records, or supporting the healthcare team, she is dedicated to excellence and efficiency.


Outside the clinic, Marilyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, doing beauty-related activities, and attending rodeos and concerts.
